For my 2023 calendar series, I started by taking a photo of some of my painted/dyed fabrics. Then I allowed my imagination to help create a setting and pick an animal for the piece. The subjects were illustrated digitally and I was able to manipulate the fabric image and the illustration to meld them together. The result was very colorful imagery!
